This Is Why You Shouldn't Binge-Watch 'The Walking Dead'

As society crumbles around us, the only solace this generation has is that Netflix exists. At any point, we can take a break from our lives for 13 straight hours and knock out a whole season of a show in one sitting. But what happens when people take binge-watching too far?

Just ask this guy from New Mexico, who got really drunk while watching AMC's hit The Walking Dead. He was convinced that his friend was a zombie, so he proceeded to kill him. You know...to save humanity.

Damon Perry, 23, was drinking one night while watching his favorite show, The Walking Dead.

That's when he noticed some striking similarities between Chris Paquin -- his roommate -- and the zombies on TV.

Convinced that his roommate was becoming a zombie, Perry stabbed Paquin. He then beat him with a baseball bat and a microwave.

It was then that Paquin convinced Perry that he wasn't a zombie...by not coming back to life.

Perry was eventually tracked down at a friend's house. He thought that they were turning into zombies, too. Police caught him before he could do any more damage.

Damon Perry was arrested and charged with murder. His bail is set at $800,000. Unfortunately for everyone involved, this Netflix and chill session was not very chill at all.
