Space is weird. Everyone who's looked up at the night sky and had an existential crisis knows that. While we're limited to freaky observations made from the ground, astronomers the world over experience all of that weirdness straight from the source.

These five sounds, which are all real-life bits of horror, were recorded by actual space equipment. Maybe it'd be a good idea to let this video play in the background the next time you're pondering the great expanse of space...or maybe not.
