This time of year, it's not unusual to wake up and find frosty dew on the grass outside. The winter chill is, or will soon be, upon us. Unless you're living near Memphis, Tennessee, that is. Residents there have been seeing something different on their lawns, and it's not frost or dew. Oh, no.

What they're seeing when they wake up is a huge spider infestation.

According to locals, the center of the infestation is on May Street and Chelsea Avenue. There, a large group of spiders has managed to weave a massive stretch of web.

Aside from being an eyesore, these spiders are causing problems for residents and business owners nearby.

Things have gotten so bad that people are urging city officials to get involved. They want someone to handle this gross situation.

Despite the invasiveness of these spiders, this is just a normal part of their life cycle.

According to local scientists, these spiders are juveniles who just so happened to hatch all at once this fall.

Science or no science, that is a total nightmare. Luckily, impending winter chills will probably put a stop to this madness.
