Nobody wants to know how meat is cut and packaged, especially if it's done by soulless robot hands that have no regard for the living.
A meat processing factory in New Zealand is now fully automated. Thousands of mechanical hands and slicers cut the meat into supermarket-sized portions. Watching lamb meat endure this robotic disinterest is creepy, especially if you consider the fact that they could just as easily do this to human flesh.
My logical side is telling me that this is just a dumb factory that chops up awesome cuts of meat, but the emotional side of me is also terrified about the fact that this robotic killing factory even exists. I fear that it may one day be our ruin.
