Photobombing is a phenomenon that even millennials are growing increasingly less excited about. Now that selfies are being photobombed by restless spirits, it's pretty clear that the trend has overstayed its welcome.

Take this photo examined on Angels & Ghosts, for example. Three students decided to pose for a selfie on their way to their prom, but it wasn't until later that they noticed a fourth head in the photo.

This photo was taken in the back of a sports car. There are no additional seats behind them.

It's not the clearest picture of all time, but if you look behind the girl in the middle, you can see the outline of another face. The stepfather of one of the girls said that the prom-goers were understandably freaked out when they took a closer look at the image. One of them even cried at the sight of the fourth face. We don't blame you, girl.
