You might not know this, but strange objects from space crash into our planet all the time. Some of those objects are man-made, and others are celestial. Regardless of their origins, if you happen to be on the ground when one of them enters the atmosphere, you're in for a quite a show.
That's something that the residents of Krasnolesye, Russia, figured out back in 2013. This video shows what appears to be a fireball streaking through the night sky. But instead of crashing into the Earth's surface, it simply disappears.video-player-present
Logically, the fireball was probably a meteor. In fact, studies show that the amount of space debris entering Earth's atmosphere is on the rise. Still...I can't help but think that this particular event had extraterrestrial roots.
