This Is What Happens When You Hold A Blood Worm For Too Long

Living in New York City, I have very little interest in fishing, and this video has pretty much solidified my desire to avoid it forever.

YouTuber Don Garvey posted this video of what happened when he held his favorite live bait -- cheerfully called a blood worm -- for a little bit too long. I never want to see this again.

They latch onto their prey with those four nasty-looking teeth and secrete enough venom to immobilize the unfortunate creature. Their bite isn't fatal to humans, but it apparently still hurts a ton.

The only positive thing that I can think of about fishing is that people like Garvey are using these accursed monsters for bait. Someone has to take one for the team (and that person will never be me).
